Upcoming School Events
– New Parent Orientation –
Given the large influx of new families this year (22 to be exact!), we will be having a special new parent/family orientation this coming Friday, August 10th from6:30 -8:00 P.M. The evening will begin with a casual meet-and-greet featuring light appetizers and drinks, followed by short presentations by myself and dean of students, Phil Duncan, leaving half an hour for questions and answers. This event is VERY IMPORTANT for families who have never had children enrolled at Kolbe-Trinity, particularly those coming from other schools. Please make every effort to attend.
August 11 (SA) – Back to School Semi-Potluck Picnic @ Kolbe-Trinity –
This coming Saturday, August 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., we will be inaugurating a new tradition: a Back-to-School Picnic before the start of the school year! This will give parents and students, particularly those who are new to the school, a chance to meet current parents and students in a more informal setting before we all get down to the important business of education. The school will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. Parents withlast names beginning A-H are kindly requested to bring a side dish to share while parents with last names beginning I-Z are kindly requested to bring a dessertto share.
