Congratulations to the newly-married Phillip Duncan, our Dean of Students, and his wife Kendra. Phil and Kendra are on their honeymoon so Mrs. Cuevas and I will be down one staff member this week. We had a lot of activity last week with language arts and math curriculum meetings which will be very helpful for aiding us in refining our curriculum for next year.
Congratulations to Dennis & Lauren Maykowsi (and their very proud children Ava, Molly, and Mariana) on the birth of their son Mark Daniel Maykowsi.Information for a meal train which begins will follow later in this memo.
By now you should have received your third trimester report cards and, if applicable, corresponding Terra Nova standardized test results in the mail. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me in the office. Summer packets will be sent home .
Friday, June 15th was the deadline for signed tuition contracts and registration payments. All signed tuition contracts and registration payments are now subject to a $50 late fee.

New Faculty Hire
Although this might be old news to you by now since it’s taken me so long to officially announce it, I am pleased to introduce our new transitional kindergarten teacher: Mrs. Eileen Dehzad. For the last four years, Eileen has been the transitional kindergarten teacher at St. Helena Catholic School. Prior to that, she was in charge of the after-school/extended care program at St. John the Baptist School (Napa) from 2005-2013. Please join me in welcoming Eileen to the Kolbe-Trinity community.

Young Christian Lady Looking to Rent a Room (Short-Term)
Emma Cheyne, who currently lives in south-eastern Michigan recently accepted a harvest winery position with Jackson Family Wines at the Cardinale estate in Oakville and is looking for housing. Her upcoming employment is seasonal, so she needs housing from early/mid-August through late November (possibly early December) for the harvest season. She’d be happy to rent a room from someone or rent a place with roommates.
Emma was homeschooled K-12 in Michigan and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Culture from New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, ID (2016).

Date Night is this . Continuing with the study of Familiaris Consortio, we will review sessions 12 through 14 of the "Call to Families" study guide which addresses the family's role as "Prophet, Priest and King" (articles 49 - 64 in FC).
We will be in the hall this month instead of the Youth Room due to scheduling conflicts. Same time as normal, gathering and social time and program start at . Child care is available as always but please let us know if you are bringing children so we can be prepared.
