Although the students have been dismissed for summer break, the work continues among the faculty and staff of Kolbe-Trinity. Our faculty and staff spent last Thursday morning debriefing from the 2017-2018 school year assessing our challenges for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. This and , our faculty will be spending their mornings analyzing our current language arts and math curriculums to assess our strengths and challenges so that we can all better serve the increased student body of Kolbe-Trinity in 2018-2019.
We have already begun the process of moving Mrs. Maureen Rowles 3-4 classroom down to Mr. Hockel’s old 9/10 modular room. Thank you to Sonia Campos-Balderas, Salvador Balderas, Wyatt and Whitney Balderas-Campos, Jenny Alba, Gianna Rowles, and new parent William Aparicio and his daughters Emily, Amy, and Astrid Flores-Aparicio for their amazing assistance!

Prayer Requests – New Addition!
I received a prayer request from our former TK/Kinder teacher and office manager Cathie Schmitgal, who requested prayers for her father who has now entered hospice. If you recall, Cathie made her decision to leave Kolbe-Trinity to help take care of her father. Also, her husband, Jim, will be having an open-heart aortic valve replacement surgery very soon. Please do remember to pray for Cathie’s father, her husband, Jim, and for Cathie herself. Thank you.
Please continue to keep Chuck Rowles and his entire extended family in your prayers so that he will be ultimately cured of his stage-4 colon cancer, and that he can return to enjoying a full and active life with his family and friends. Chuck’s son, Chris, posts updates on the websites listed below. Please continue to pray the St. Peregrine Novena found below as well.
(Donations should go through WonderWe, donations through Caring Bridge do not help Chuck)
