Tuesday of the Second Week in Ordinary Time

St. Marcellus, Pope & Martyr (Old Calendar)

From the Headmaster, John Bertolini

Hopefully your first week back wasn’t too jarring and even if it was, at least your children had one extra day to recover yesterday on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Mr. Duncan, Mrs. Cuevas, and myself will be visiting all the Napa parishes after the Masses starting this weekend Jan. 20-21 and continuing Jan. 27-28 inspreading the word about our school and advertising our upcoming open house on Sat. Feb. 3rd from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Mr. Duncan and myself will also be visiting the 7-8 graders from St. Apollinaris school tomorrow and hope to visit the 7-8 graders from St. John’s next week to present our high school program. Please pray that God will send us some more students to add to our already wonderful student body.

Week in Review (Jan. 8-12)

A big thank you to Mr. Bob Quinn for providing us with some amazing tri-tip sandwiches and coleslaw to enjoy for dinner last Monday, January 8th, as we gathered to watch the College Football National Championship in which Alabama came from behind to beat Georgia and win their 17th national championship. Although turnout was a bit disappointing, but perhaps not unexpected, our football squares were almost all sold. Thank you to all those who bought squares in support of the athletics program and congratulations to the Davis family who won $84. We raised over $1,000 for the sports program. Thank you again for your support and generosity.
