Memorial of St. Peter Damian, Bishop and Doctor of the Church
From the Desk of the Headmaster
I hope your 3 and ½ day weekend was relaxing and productive.
Congratulations to the H.S. boys and girls basketball teams who finished their season last Tuesday. Although neither of our teams made the playoffs, they fought hard all season long. Thank you to Coach Ken Franklin for another exciting season of Trinity Prep Basketball!
Dr. David Suttie, a longtime pediatric dentist in the Valley (you may recall his once ubiquitous yellow t-shirts “Dr. David Likes My Smile”), gave a dental hygiene presentation to the kindergarten, first, and second graders last Friday, Feb. 17th. Along with his trusty assistant, Dr. Suttie used props and humor to impart important lessons to your children. Thanks, Dr. Suttie!
I am happy to report that Fr. Gary Sumpter has been out of the hospital since Friday, Feb. 17th and is currently rehabbing at Napa Valley Care Center. Fr. Gary has made tremendous progress in recent days and appreciates all the outpouring of support in the form of cards, gifts, and visits. Even given his vastly improved condition, it remains essential that Fr. Gary gets as much rest as possible to continue to expedite his healing. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

If you have completed any service hours thus far, you should’ve received an invitation in the mail. If you had planned to attend, you needed to RSVP by Friday, Feb. 17th. Thank you for your support!
Friday, Feb. 24th – Date Night @ St. Apollinaris – 7:00 P.M.
This Friday it's Date Night! Same time, 7:00 pm, same great programming with Beloved (A Deeper Unity), but a new location in the St. A's Youth Room instead of in the hall. As usual, child care is available.
Also, to help defray the cost of Date Night, if possible please bring a beverage to share, whether a bottle of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic choice. We will continue to provide the cheese, crackers and other munchies.
We hope to see you all Friday. Don't forget to invite a friend (or two)!
Have a blessed week.

Meals for the Joe & Katie Duncan Family
Joe, Katie, Jess, and Allie Duncan welcomed baby Isabelle into their family and we would love to show them support in this beautiful (and hectic!) time of transition by providing dinners for their family over the next few weeks. Joe has recently done countless hours of volunteer work for this great school coaching 7-8 girls and 5-6 boys basketball, and substituting for P.E. If you can be so kind as cook and deliver them a meal, they would be thrilled! It’s the least we can do for them. Fingerprinting for Volunteers
Anybody who wishes to volunteer to earn requisite service hours and assist in whatever capacity next year (athletic coaching, field trips, driving for sporting events, lunch duty, etc.) MUST have been fingerprinted and needed to have this information submitted to the diocese ASAP. Please contact Emily in the office immediately to begin the process if you have not done so.
Please keep Catherine Audrey-Quinn and the extended Andrego family in your prayers.
