Dear KT Family/Friends,

It was great to have our TK-6 back on campus as an entire group for the first time in two weeks, along with being able to welcome 7-12 students back on campus. We are also blessed to have Mass celebrated in the chapel for the first time since March! Please pray that we are spared from any more fires or an outbreak of COVID-19 so that our students can have some consistency and structure to their school days.

Oct. 16 – Oktoberfest to Go!  - 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. - Order Now! 2 Days Left!

Bob Quinn is preparing a great Oktoberfest-to-Go package for you to take home and enjoy with your family! For just $35, you get 4 bratwursts, 4 hot dogs, 4 soft pretzels, 16 oz. homemade potato salad, 8 buns, ketchup, mustard, and sauerkraut. All you need to do is heat up the food!  We recently obtained some good quality beer from Bilco’s Billiard and Darts Sport Bar. Each beer would retail for $6 each for a total of $30 for a six-pack. Throw in the fact that this is a fundraiser, and we make it an even $40 for the six-pack. Each six pack will be a variety pack featuring three different beers (2 of each). Order it with the dinner and the price is $35 for the six-pack for a grand total of $70!

Oct. 17 (SA) – Agape  9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. – Help Needed!

Although held differently due to concerns with bad air quality, we have decided to stick with our faster, more-efficient drive-thru Agape food pantry which will once again take place this coming Saturday, Oct. 17th, from 12:00 – 3:00 P.M.  Our last Agape worked out great since we had an amazing turnout in the morning to help with packing boxes beforehand. We would appreciate another great turnout in two shifts on Saturday: 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. for preparation and 12:00 – 3:00 for food transportation and delivery so that we can continue to operate in this new-and-improved format. Please let Maria know if you can help by e-mailing her at offfice@kolbetrinity.org or calling at 707-258-9030.

Prayer Requests

Please pray for the repose of soul of Brigitte Wilson’s father, Bill Wilson, who died on Friday, Oct. 9th.  Thank you for your prayers for Deana Muth, wife of former principal Brian Muth, who had a brain tumor successfully removed yesterday.

Please continue your prayers for John Carr who is now undergoing more aggressive treatment for cancer.  He is deeply appreciative to you all for the prayers. Also, please continue to pray for Henry Ramirez, Jay Hipolito’s grandfather, who has once again taken a turn for the worst and is in the hospital.

Thank you for your continued prayers for former Kolbe Academy student (and my classmate) Michael Arribage who is currently battling stage-4 kidney cancer. His treatment continues to move in a very positive direction. Please continue to keep Bethany Pham, an 8-year girl battling cancer who is a student at St. Apollinaris Catholic School, in your prayers.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,
