Thank you again so much, and get ready to mark your calendars for Sat., Jan. 16th, 2021 for the next crab feed!
Catholic Schools Week was great! Thank you again to you, the parents, for making countless sacrifices of time, talent, and treasure to send your children to Kolbe-Trinity, to Maria Angulo and Leticia Mendoza-Reyes for cooking up another delicious (and free!) hot lunch of chicken pasta alfredo, and to all of the students for participating and cooperating so well with our all-school capture-the-flag game and free-dress day.
Great to see so many of our parents at our two home basketball games this week in which our high school girls won their first game of the year against Fortune and our five high school boys played their best game all year in a losing effort again John Adams Academy.
We capped off the very busy week with an open house on Saturday in which four prospective families toured the school guided by Dan Arend and Guadalupe Angulo! Thanks, Dan and Guadalupe!

Feb. 6 (Evening) – Mark Brumley Series on Benedict XVI’s The Spirit of the Liturgy
Session 3 @ 7PM
What does it mean to worship God? How ought we to understand the Liturgy? If Jesus came to bring “worship in Spirit and truth”, why do so many Christians worship in a particular place (church), at a particular time (Sundays), following a particular pattern of worship (liturgy and ritual)? Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI answers these and other important questions in his classic work, The Spirit of the Liturgy. Explore his answers as Mark Brumley leads a nine-session course based on The Spirit of the Liturgy. Classes continue on Thursday, Feb 6, and will also be held on February, 13, 27; March 5, 12, and 19.
Sessions will begin @ 7:00 P.M. and will take place at the school. No charge. Donations gratefully accepted.
