Transferred Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

Advent Feria (Traditional Calendar)

Happy Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception!

Thank you to the Hill and Andrego families who have already contributed to our $100 per family challenge. If every family donated $100, we would raise over $5,000 just from our families alone! Please prayerfully consider a donation by Friday, Dec. 20th.

Please continue to pray the St. Andrew Novena which was sent out last week, asking St. Andrew’s intercession for the school to continue to obtain and to acquire more funds to keep our mission alive and thriving.

Also, every Advent we take up a collection to send money to the Catholic missions around the world who provide spiritual, emotional, and physical support to the poor Catholics in other countries.  Please set aside any and all spare change in their homes in a jar for the next week and a half. Please help us help the Catholic missions.

Upcoming Community Event

Dec. 14 (SA) – Date Night @ St. A’s -5:30 P.M.

Dear Friends,

We hope that you are having a good Advent and preparing well for the coming of our savior in less than three weeks - yikes!  Wherever you are in your preparation, we hope that you will take time out for Date Night this coming Saturday, December 14th.

We are presenting the third session out of 6 in the United in Love, United in Christ series - "The Eucharist: The Source and Summit of Married Life".  For those of you who have not been able to attend either of the previous two sessions, this series is very well done and both challenging and inspiring.  The evening starts in the hall with a potluck family dinner at 5:30, followed by the program, and we usually end around 8:00.  We have child care available.

Please RSVP what you plan to bring for the potluck so we can coordinate the food, and also to let us know how many children you will be bringing for child care.  Since we will be away this week, please send your RSVP and any questions to the LaRochelles at dmlpiglet@aol.com.

May God Bless you during the remaining days of Advent and have a most Blessed Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception today.

Walt and Pam Birdsall
