Tuesday of the First Week of Lent

From the Headmaster, John Bertolini

Lent is officially underway and we are almost one week into it already. This is a beautiful and holy time of the year as we prepare for Easter by increasing our prayer, fasting, abstaining from meat on Fridays, and almsgiving. A reminder that we have Mass Tues-Friday @ 7:45 A.M. and during Lent, Stations of the Cross will be prayed on Fridays @ 2:20. Please join us!

Thank you to Andrea GarciaArt & Eleanor RonoSue Arend, and Yul and Maria Vieyra for volunteering to assist with State of the School refreshments and set-up.

Thank you also to Glynna Decicco, Maureen Rowles, Yul & Maria Vieyra, Susana de la Cruz, and Mary Quinn for taking time to attend last Tuesday’s Parents’ Guild Meeting in which we finalized details for the State of the School Meeting as well as began discussing Jog-a-Thon which will now be held on Friday, May 3rd. Following our rummage sale on March 23rd, this will be our next big community-wide fundraiser.

A big thank you to Maricela Garcia (Maria Cuevas’ mother), Maria Cuevas, and Maria Angulo for preparing an amazingly delicious meatlessAsh Wednesday hot lunch for our students. It was a huge hit across the board!

Mar. 23 (SA) – School Rummage Sale – 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. – Flyer Attached

We're less than two weeks away from our school-wide rummage sale on Saturday, March. 23rd and we need committed sellers. If you have stuff to sell, even if it's not a lot, please contact Melissa Buyarskimebuyarski@gmail.com. Several people, each with a little, can add up to an impressive sale.

We also need help with advertising, especially online. If you have a profile on NextDoor and could put up a post, please let Melissa know. It'd be great to have all areas of Napa covered by their notifications. We also need posts on Facebook, Craigslist, and any other places you can think of posting.

Get rid of unwanted items and help Kolbe-Trinity at the same time! Double-bonus!

Prayer Request Update

Sara Roche, was discharged from the hospital and flew home to the Bay Area yesterday. She is truly a miracle and Colleen Roche truly believes that journals will be written about her case which will hopefully help others with the same congenital defect. Thank you for all of your prayers!
